ASC includes STEM enrichment through Coding Academy strands—Little Engineer, Robotic Engineering, and Scratch by MIT. Chess is offered as a competitive activity. The Leisure program serves Pre-Nursery to Grade 12 with more than 70 activities, taught in French, English, or Chinese.
Arts and cultural offerings include Floral Art, Chinese Crafts, Leatherwork Workshop, Comics / Manga, Jewelry, Choir, Creative Painting, Cosplay, Art Around the World, Little Architects, and Magic Show.
Sessions are conducted in French, English, and/or Chinese. Italian language courses include Beginner and Intermediate levels.
The Leisure program includes Golf, Singing, Dance, Football, Theatre, Coding, and Magic Tricks.
ASC offers ten competitive and leisure sports: Cross-country, Badminton, Dance, Gymnastics, Swimming, Table Tennis, Chess, Basketball, Football, and Volleyball. On the Yangpu Campus, sport and cultural activities include Track & Field, Badminton, Basketball, K-Pop Dance, Dance, Climbing, Fencing, Girls' Football, Recreational Football, Gymnastics, Underwater Hockey, Kids Ball Games, Kung Fu, Mini Football, Mini Sports Games, Swimming Development, and Swimming (Secondary). Over 1,200 students are registered for at least one activity, with more than 70 activities available and 90 experts across both campuses. The program provides about 300 hours of activities per week and supports over 450 competitive matches per year.
The Lycée Français de Shanghai (LFS) is a French-curriculum school operating two Eurocampus sites in Shanghai: Qingpu and Yangpu. It serves children from age 2 up to the terminale (around 18 years) and reports about 1,530 students of some 60 nationalities. The LFS is conventionné with the AEFE and follows the French national curriculum while offering several language pathways, including Section Internationale Américaine (SIA), Section Internationale Chinoise (SIC) and a Section Européenne (English). The school runs a Français Langue de Scolarisation (FLSco) programme for non‑French-speaking entrants and a large extra‑curricular programme (ASC) with sports and cultural activities.
