Facilities Overview

Shanghai French School operates on two campuses, Qingpu and Yangpu, forming the Eurocampus shared with the German School of Shanghai. The Qingpu campus has 52,000 m2 of facilities, including six science laboratories and preparation rooms, arts spaces (music, visual arts, a photo lab, a mixing room, and a theater), and a 1,000 m2 BCD-3C media library with sports facilities including a pool and courts. The Yangpu campus has 58,000 m2 of facilities with 19,000 m2 of green spaces, a BCD-3C library with 16,000 documents in five languages, a 7,000 m2 gym, a climbing wall, and a 400 m track, plus swimming pools and handball/basketball courts, and a theater under construction. Dining facilities on Yangpu measure 1,200 m2 with eight service lines.

Sports Facilities

Qingpu campus includes a swimming pool, a football pitch, and handball and basketball courts. Yangpu campus includes a swimming pool, basketball and football facilities, a 7,000 m2 gym, a climbing wall, and a 400 m track. The Yangpu theater is under construction. Both campuses support physical education and team sports through these facilities.

Extra-Curricular Activities

The Lycée Français de Shanghai (LFS) is a French-curriculum school operating two Eurocampus sites in Shanghai: Qingpu and Yangpu. It serves children from age 2 up to the terminale (around 18 years) and reports about 1,530 students of some 60 nationalities. The LFS is conventionné with the AEFE and follows the French national curriculum while offering several language pathways, including Section Internationale Américaine (SIA), Section Internationale Chinoise (SIC) and a Section Européenne (English). The school runs a Français Langue de Scolarisation (FLSco) programme for non‑French-speaking entrants and a large extra‑curricular programme (ASC) with sports and cultural activities. The school publishes its annual tuition tables and practical information (campus addresses, admissions contacts) on its website.
