ULink College Guangzhou was founded in 2004 by Guangdong Ulink Education Service Co. in cooperation with South China Normal University; it began as an international programme hosted on the university campus and was one of the early Cambridge course centres in China. ULC grew through the 2000s (including a Nanhai campus opened in 2006) and later consolidated its operations into the Nansha campus as part of a strategic relocation in 2014.
