XIS supports Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) through a weekly Advisory Program in which all students and teaching staff participate; during the first 10 minutes of each school day, students work in small groups with a staff member using an Advisory Workbook, covering topics such as emotional health and well-being, stress reduction, healthy hobbies, technology use, and career/college planning.
