Uniform Requirement

The school has a uniform. Grade-specific uniform lists are published for Prejardín and Jardín (Prekindergarten and Kindergarten); Transición a Segundo Grado (Transition to Second Grade); Tercero y Cuarto Grado (Third and Fourth Grade); Quinto a Séptimo Grado (Fifth to Seventh Grade); and Octavo a Undécimo Grado (Ninth to Twelfth Grade).

Food Options

The school provides a nutrition service with nutritious, balanced meals designed by a nutrition team. Lunch includes a salad bar, a fruit bar, soup, two carbohydrate options, two protein options (animal or vegetarian), natural juice, and a dessert option; there is a vegetarian menu and a plan to manage intolerances and allergies. A snack service (Half Nines) is offered, consisting of a natural fruit drink or dairy, a protein, a carbohydrate and a fruit; beverages and fruits are provided, and the program emphasizes reducing added sugars and fried foods. For families contracted to the monthly food service, there is also a birthday menu option.

Governance and Ownership

The Rochester Educational Foundation (FER) is a private, non-profit organization established in 2011. FER focuses on three lines of work—Conservation, Education, and Solidarity—and collaborates with Colegio Rochester and other entities to positively impact society through environmental and social projects. FER is governed by an executive committee that includes a President and other officers who oversee the foundation's activities and partnership with the school.

Colegio Rochester is a co-educational, multilingual school with international accreditation, serving students aged 4 to 17. It uses a bespoke Curriculum B (August to June) that prioritizes learning through relationships and collaboration to develop competencies, attitudes, and values for life, with social-emotional development. Students become bilingual in English and Spanish, with listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills. The program covers mathematics for problem solving and includes music, visual arts, dance, and theatre, with integrated motor coordination. Scientific thinking is developed through the natural and social sciences and computing to solve real-world problems, with a focus on service to others and optional Catholic sacraments. University preparation spans eight semesters, with English targets C1-C2 for TOEFL IBT, CELPE-BRAS or DELF-DALF at B2-C1, Saber 11 A+, and 11th-grade capstone project. The 28,500 m2 campus is LEED Platinum certified, featuring Apple Laboratories and a Learning Resources Center with 18,000 books, plus professional sport facilities.
