Orquesta Iniciación (Orff) meets regularly, and Taller Mágico provides arts and crafts; Cuentos, Cantos y Otros Encantos engages students in storytelling and song. Pre Chiqui Dance and Chiqui Dance introduce early dance experiences. The program also includes Orquesta Junior and other performing arts activities.
This area includes reading-centered cultural activities and language development through reading programs and author visits. The Joy of Reading program aligns with district and national policies to develop reading, writing, and oral language from Prejardín onward, with projects that engage students and teachers alike. The school runs solidarity initiatives through the Rochester Sports for Smiles program, supporting Operation Smile Colombia since 2014; funds are raised during Virtues Sessions with student participation and a donation process. The Tití Project is an environmental initiative that plants trees to protect the Cotton-Top Tamarin habitat. Solidarity Projects are coordinated through the Rochester Educational Foundation.
Rochesterian Partnerships connects the school with parents and alumni to promote products and services, generating value for the community and new opportunities. The Rochester Educational Foundation coordinates Education Projects, Conservation Projects, and Solidarity Projects, demonstrating leadership in the school's social and environmental initiatives. The FER leadership committee includes a President and a dedicated team guiding strategy and operations.
The Wellness Center provides psychological, medical, and spiritual support through a team including a psychologist, occupational therapist, physician, orthopedist, and a chaplain. Since August 2020, the Wellness Center has a Learning Development Coordinator to support inclusive education and student wellbeing, with programs to prevent social, emotional, spiritual and learning difficulties. The center offers workshops on Guidance, Academic Guidance, Health Education, Relationship Guidance, and Mindfulness to support students and families.
Colegio Rochester is a co-educational, multilingual school with international accreditation, serving students aged 4 to 17. It uses a bespoke Curriculum B (August to June) that prioritizes learning through relationships and collaboration to develop competencies, attitudes, and values for life, with social-emotional development. Students become bilingual in English and Spanish, with listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills. The program covers mathematics for problem solving and includes music, visual arts, dance, and theatre, with integrated motor coordination.
