Marymount School Medellín is multilingual, with English as the primary language of instruction and French taught as a third language from the 5th grade, with more than 65% of the school day conducted in English to support bilingualism. The school has a Knowledge Center and a Library to support learning. It features Innovation and Information Management through InnovaT, as well as MaryTunes, MSMUN, and Phidias. It runs language immersions and expeditions to foster global perspectives. Sustainability and social responsibility are integrated through Sustainable Marymount, and Solidary Marymount. Life Project and Professional Orientation are among its training projects.
The school offers a Sports Club with motor skills, gymnastics, figure and race skating, track and field, cheerleading, ultimate, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and softball. Sports activities take place after school hours as part of the "training for the use of spare time" program. The school participates in sports festivals through the RSHM network.
