Billing schedule and payment terms

- Annual tuition is payable either in full in advance by 1 September or in 5 instalments. The instalment due dates are:
- 1st instalment: due by 01 September.
- 2nd instalment: due by 01 November.
- 3rd instalment: due by 01 January.
- 4th instalment: due by 01 March.
- 5th instalment: due by 01 May.
- The school issues payment requests and invoices by e-mail; guardians are responsible for ensuring the school has a correct, current e-mail address for billing.

- If a pupil leaves during a running school year the annual fee for the current, already-begun semester (half-year) is due in full; exceptions require a board decision. Temporary leaves (e.g., exchange programmes) do not suspend the obligation to pay fees unless the board decides otherwise.

Boarding fees

- Boarding is not applicable. The published hours and fees reference day programmes for Kindergarten, Vorschule and school grades, and no boarding or residential fees are listed; therefore there are no boarding fees to pay (inference from the published fee schedule and stated operational hours).

Other costs and additional fees

- Costs explicitly excluded from the annual tuition and payable in addition to the annual fee:
- Schoolbooks, workbooks and classroom materials (materials are ordered separately via an external supplier and invoiced directly).
- Class trips and specific school projects, unless otherwise stated.
- Daily meals (canteen) are organised by an external provider and are payable separately to that provider.

- After‑school activities and optional offers (prices per school year):
- Extracurricular working groups (AG) – EUR 160.00 per AG-hour (per school year).
- For primary school (Grades 1–4) ‘‘Werkstatt'' / free-play sessions and ‘‘Aktiv entspannen'' – EUR 160.00 for each started 60-minute unit (per school year).
- Homework support for the gymnasium (short session length as described) – EUR 160.00 for each started unit (per school year).
- Registration for these additional offers is binding at the start of the school year and the annual charge is payable in advance; no refunds are made for these charges once invoiced. External-provider offerings may be charged separately to parents under their own terms.

Discounts and reductions

- Sibling discount: for families with more than one child enrolled, the annual tuition is reduced by 10% for each child from the second child onward; this sibling discount applies only to school tuition fees and not to Kindergarten or Vorschule fees.
- Fee reductions for hardship may be granted by the school board in individual cases; such reductions are subject to application, documentation and board approval, are valid for one school year only, and the admission fee and additional activity costs are excluded from any reduction.

Refund information

- Refunds (where applicable) are paid only to the bank account from which the original payment was made.
- In cases of unavoidable extraordinary circumstances (force majeure, e.g., natural disasters, war, pandemics), the school may provide instruction by alternative means (for example online). Such alternative provision is considered equivalent fulfilment of contractual obligations; parents agree in advance that partial or full interruption of on-site school operations for reasons beyond the school's control does not automatically entitle them to a reduction or refund of the annual fee.

Payment options and bank details

- Payment method specified: bank transfer to the school association's account. The published account details are:
- Account holder: Njemačka školska udruga
- IBAN: HR50 2407 0001 1006 2216 6
- SWIFT/BIC: OTPVHR2X.
- Invoicing and payment communications are sent by e-mail. No alternative payment methods (e.g., credit card) are specified in the published fee regulations; bank transfer is the required method for tuition payments as specified.

Late payment and consequences

- If tuition or additional fees are not paid by the due date, the school issues a payment reminder 7 days after the deadline. If payment remains outstanding, a first dunning notice is issued 21 days after the reminder and, if unpaid, a second dunning notice follows 7 days later.
- If outstanding amounts remain unpaid after the dunning process the case may be referred to a lawyer or debt collection agency; resulting collection and/or legal costs are charged to the responsible guardian.
- If fees due for a school year are not paid by 31 July, the school reserves the right to terminate the school contract without notice and to suspend services until full payment is received.

Pupil Nationality Mix

Students come from Germany, France, Croatia and other countries worldwide.
