Facilities Overview

The French International School of Zagreb is part of the Zagreb Eurocampus, bringing together a French and a German school under one roof. The Zagreb Eurocampus is described as the most integrated among Eurocampuses worldwide, offering joint initiatives and courses, a common development project, and more. The campus features a new sports area, a new hall, a new CDI (Centre de Documentation et d'Information), and a new cantine. The curriculum runs from kindergarten through high school, with instruction aligned to French and Croatian standards.

Sports Facilities

A new sports area is on the Zagreb Eurocampus. Common physical education courses are offered as part of the Eurocampus. The integrated campus enables joint physical education initiatives and shared PE activities across the French and German schools. The collaborative approach supports PE programs and cross-campus physical education activities.

Academic Facilities

The campus hosts a new CDI (Centre de Documentation et d'Information). There is a new cantine. A new hall is part of the facilities. The curriculum is aligned with French and Croatian standards.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Extracurricular activities are an integral part of life at FISZ. The offering is designed to allow students to develop outside of the classroom. Children learn how to interact with others, challenge themselves, and develop their creativity. After-school activities are available to get involved.

École Française Internationale de Zagreb (FISZ) is a private, non-profit French international school serving ages 3–18, operating within the Zagreb Eurocampus beside the German school. The curriculum follows the French system with an integrated Croatian component. French is the main language of instruction; English is a compulsory first foreign language from age 6, German from age 11, and Croatian is mandatory for all students (taught as a mother tongue or foreign language). In Grade 6 a British International Section begins, offering English literature and History/Geography taught in English. After 9th grade students can sit DNBI international option, and after 12th grade the OIB French baccalaureate, both within the Eurocampus framework. The campus hosts a new sports area, hall, CDI and cantine, with joint PE activities across the French and German schools. Governance is by a parent-volunteer Association; AEFE appoints the principal. Extracurriculars include after-school arts, cultural activities and student-led groups.
