English is the teaching medium across the school. ESL support is provided from the Infants through Sixth Form, with Booster English in the Juniors and ESL groups in the Seniors; in Sixth Form ESL students prepare for IELTS.

In Juniors, Booster English supports pupils for whom English is a second or additional language while others study standard English in their year group. In Seniors, some pupils join ESL classes while others remain in mainstream English; ESL focuses on vocabulary and grammar, while the mainstream class emphasizes creative writing and literature. Sixth Form ESL students prepare for IELTS.
