Nestled on a 10-acre landscaped campus in Nicosia, The English School blends its historic Main Building with modern learning spaces. The Main Building dates from 1938, the Sports Centre was added in 1990, and a modern Science Building inaugurated in 2004 houses science and ICT laboratories, a Library Resource Centre, and a Lecture Theatre. The campus includes creative spaces for Art, Music, Drama, and Languages and serves over 1,100 students from diverse backgrounds.
The Sports Centre features a large gymnasium, outdoor sports fields, and tennis courts. The athletics facilities were modernized with the refurbishment of the Athletics Track completed in 2022. The Main Football Pitch was renovated with a new artificial grass surface, and two outdoor basketball courts were added. A well-equipped gym with weight training machines is available to students.
The campus provides modern science laboratories, a Library Resource Centre, and ICT facilities within a Science Building; there are 22 departments offering a broad curriculum, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Design and Technology, English and Drama, Geography, Greek, History, Modern Languages, Mathematics and Turkish.
The English School offers 75+ extracurricular clubs and societies and participates in 15+ competitions. The Be the Change programme includes the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Chain of Change Charity, Acts of Kindness and various community projects, with elected Student Representatives, Chain of Change, and ECO Warriors promoting student leadership and civic responsibility.
