The school offers more than 30 afternoon clubs. The clubs focus on personal interests, career interests, community service and entertainment. A number of subjects have dedicated clubs such as Maths Club, Science Club, Greek Research Club, Current Affairs Club and Debate Club. These clubs extend learning beyond the classroom and foster critical and independent thinking.
Art & Design Club, English Drama Club and Music Club are among the arts-focused clubs, with Dance Clubs for Lower School and Upper School as well. The arts programme supports creativity and performance as part of student life. These clubs provide opportunities for creative collaboration and presentation.
Chinese Society and Le p'tit Club Français promote language learning and cultural exchange, while Greek Research Club supports language-related exploration. Cyprus Youth Parliament Programme contributes to civic understanding and cultural engagement.
Dance Club Lower School and Dance Club Upper School offer dance activities, complemented by Yoga Club for mindfulness and flexibility. Marching Band and other clubs provide social and recreational opportunities that enrich student life.
The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is included in the programme, alongside Cyprus Youth Parliament Programme and Volunteers & PR Club for community involvement. First Aid Club trains students in basic first aid and safety skills.
Student Council provides leadership opportunities, and Careers Assistants support club and school activities. The Events Workshop develops organisational and event-planning skills, while The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award also emphasises leadership development.
Sports offerings include Basketball, Football and Volleyball for boys and girls. Dance Clubs and Yoga Club contribute to fitness and wellbeing as part of a balanced student life.
The G C School of Careers is a long‑standing private English secondary school in Strovolos, Cyprus, established in 1973. It offers a Pearson Edexcel IGCSE programme with progression to A‑levels in Forms 6–7 and the School Apolytirion diploma, recognised by the Ministry of Education and Culture, foreign academic institutions and local employers. In Lower School (Forms 1–3), students study English Language, Modern Greek, Mathematics, History, General Science, Geography, ICT, Art & Design, Music, Religious Studies, Physical Education and French (Forms 2–3). Non‑native Greek speakers undertake Modern Greek for Beginners. Forms 4–5 include seven IGCSE subjects with English First Language and Mathematics compulsory, plus options such as Art & Design, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, English Literature, French, Geography, History and Physics. Forms 6–7 require four A‑levels from a broad list. The campus features laboratories, five Computer Labs, a library, an Auditorium, Art & Design rooms and a sports complex, plus The GCS Mathematics School and The GCS Sports School. The school is an Edexcel and ECDL training centre and offers extensive co‑curriculars.
