The G C School of Careers is an Edexcel and ECDL training and examination centre. The school provides facilities and expertise to support ongoing athletic development. An Administration Block houses a Reception and the management team's offices. Classrooms are equipped with visual aids for teaching. Computerization systems and services for administration and teaching are continually upgraded.
The sports facilities include a football pitch, futsal, volleyball, handball, padel and basketball courts. The School provides opportunities for all students to enjoy sports regardless of ability. All PE teachers are qualified first aiders with up-to-date training. A defibrillator in the cafeteria is accessible to the school's first aiders. School athletes and teams participate in district and national championships and other sports competitions.
The School has modern Chemistry, Biology and Physics laboratories that comply with GCE examination standards and EU safety regulations. Labs are centrally heated, fully ventilated and air-conditioned. Two lab technicians assist teachers. The Laboratories are used for IGCSE and A-level Science and are equipped with the latest technology, including computers, projectors, interactive boards and video presenters. The School has five Computer Labs capable of hosting 120 users simultaneously; all computers are Internet-connected and linked to file servers with safety measures in place. Art & Design includes three spacious, purpose-built, fully equipped Art & Design rooms.
The GCS Clubs offer a broad range of extracurricular activities across arts, languages, debate, science, technology and leadership. Highlights include Art & Design Club, Chess Club, Debate Club, English Drama Club, Dance Club, MUN and Robotics Club. Programming, Maths and Science Clubs, as well as the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, provide opportunities for competitive and project-based learning. The clubs foster collaboration, critical thinking and presentation skills, with events such as talent shows, school parades and exhibitions. Student Librarians and the First Aid Club offer additional service and practical experiences.
The G C School of Careers is a long‑standing private English secondary school in Strovolos, Cyprus, established in 1973. It offers a Pearson Edexcel IGCSE programme with progression to A‑levels in Forms 6–7 and the School Apolytirion diploma, recognised by the Ministry of Education and Culture, foreign academic institutions and local employers. In Lower School (Forms 1–3), students study English Language, Modern Greek, Mathematics, History, General Science, Geography, ICT, Art & Design, Music, Religious Studies, Physical Education and French (Forms 2–3). Non‑native Greek speakers undertake Modern Greek for Beginners. Forms 4–5 include seven IGCSE subjects with English First Language and Mathematics compulsory, plus options such as Art & Design, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, English Literature, French, Geography, History and Physics. Forms 6–7 require four A‑levels from a broad list. The campus features laboratories, five Computer Labs, a library, an Auditorium, Art & Design rooms and a sports complex, plus The GCS Mathematics School and The GCS Sports School. The school is an Edexcel and ECDL training centre and offers extensive co‑curriculars.
