Extra-Curricular Activities

Clubs, activities, and opportunities to explore interests and passions

Academic and Intellectual

MedMUN Club (Mediterranean Model United Nations) is for Classes 6 and 7. It enables open discussions and brainstorming on topics on the UN agenda, including financial, educational, and social issues. The club engages with controversial global issues to develop critical thinking and debate skills and prepares students to represent the school and Cyprus at the annual MUN Conference in Nicosia. The activity is a simulation of the United Nations, offering practical experience in diplomacy.

Arts and Creative

Music & Drama Club offers opportunities to act, sing or dance, with students contributing to behind-the-scenes roles such as stage management and makeup. There are groups for singers and instrumentalists of all ages and abilities, playing classical and modern music. The Music & Drama Club is responsible for producing the school's annual show and contributes to music and dancing in assemblies, and it organises charity concerts either within the school or at other sites.

Cultural and Language

Greek Show (Greek Theatre Club) aims to form a theatre group for students from the 4th to the 7th grade to study, rehearse, and stage a complete theatrical production. The production is staged within the Pan-Cypriot Theatre Competitions co-organised by the Cyprus Theatre Organisation and the Ministry of Education and Culture. Participation helps students develop theatre skills, language proficiency, and teamwork while engaging with Greek literary and cultural repertoire.

Social and Hobbies

Social Work Club aims to contribute toward the social needs of our society, involving students in fundraising for various charities and visiting homes for people with special needs. Joining the club provides opportunities to meet and discuss everyday problems with fellow students and to arrange school functions. Every Child Club supports the charity Every Child, sponsoring children in need and raising awareness of issues affecting children. Blood Donation Club organizes an annual blood donation in November in association with the Red Cross.

Community and Service

Blood Donation is organized annually in memory of Gabriel and Claire Gregoriou in cooperation with the Red Cross. The Social Work Club coordinates charitable activities and volunteering, including fundraising for various charities and visits to homes for people with special needs. The Every Child Club works to sponsor children and raise awareness about children's welfare.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Sports Club is a long-standing feature offering volleyball and basketball, with Mini-Football tournaments and other events held on campus and at local sports areas around Limassol. Football Club provides a training program for players aged 14 to 17 with a view to league participation. Kickstart Club promotes health awareness and outdoor activities, including monthly hikes and rock climbing for students aged 11 to 14. Regular physical activity supports a healthy mind and body.

Admission to A‑Level subjects is based on prior knowledge equivalent to the successful completion of Higher‑level GCSE/IGCSE or its equivalent. The modern Limassol campus provides well‑equipped classrooms, laboratories, and spaces for collaboration, with sports facilities to support physical education. Science laboratories support hands‑on learning and practical activities integrated into lessons. The school offers a broad extracurricular program including a Music & Drama Club with an annual musical production, Art & Design Studio with an annual exhibition, and a Greek Theatre Club that participates in Pan‑Cypriot competitions. The MedMUN Club develops debate and diplomacy skills, alongside other activities such as Science Fair, Debate Club, Mock Trials, and Eco Society. The school originated in Limassol in 1975 as a branch of the Nicosia network and remains committed to high educational standards.
