Ioannis Gregoriou founded The Grammar School in 1963 after establishing Cyprus College and The Private English Junior School in 1970. The 1974 Turkish invasion caused the loss of buildings near Nicosia International Airport, but Ioannis purchased land in the Nicosia–Anthoupolis area and rebuilt the schools. The Grammar School and The Private English Junior School reopened with modern facilities and now educate more than 1,200 students. Gabriel Gregoriou founded The Grammar School in Limassol in 1975 as branches of the Nicosia organisation and later expanded to Panthea with purpose-built premises; after his death in 1993, his family continued his mission, upholding high educational standards.
