Uniform Requirement

Official Uniform includes a specially designed blazer, white shirt with the Grammar School pocket badge, beige trousers for boys or beige skort for girls, and a school tie; white sneakers. A Physical Education Uniform (tracksuit, T‑shirt, shorts) is worn for PE, with training shoes in conservative colours. A Casual Uniform includes an anorak, zip-up jacket, beige sweater, white polo shirt, beige trousers or skirts, and a scarf; items are available from the School Bookstore (skirts and trousers may also be bought from a local retailer).

Food Options

The School provides a variety of hot meals, pastries, salads, yoghurts and sandwiches through its canteens and cafeteria. Twelve vending machines around the School offer snacks and drinks.

Governance and Ownership

The Grammar School Nicosia is governed by a Management Board elected by the Parents Association; the Executive Board was elected on 15 October 2025. The Parents Association and the Teachers Association underpin governance and engagement with parents; regular Management Board meetings are held in the School's conference room and are open to Parents Association members.

The Grammar School Nicosia is a day school in Cyprus that also serves as a GCE examination centre. It offers a seven-year curriculum culminating in the Apolytirion alongside Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A Level examinations. The Lower School builds core skills across Art, English, Geography, Greek, History, Information Technology, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Religious Knowledge and Science, with compulsory Modern Greek for students with Greek Cypriot heritage and an embedded STEM programme. Upper School delivers IGCSE, AS and A Level courses, with English, Mathematics, Modern Greek and Physical Education mandatory in Class 4 and a broad range of IGCSE electives. The campus features classrooms with whiteboards, science laboratories, and facilities, including the Innovation Centre (Study Area, Innovation Lab and Robotics Lab) that supports robotics and 3D printing. The school offers extracurricular activities, such as the GS Robotics Academy, Debate Club and Erasmus+ programmes, and runs an IT Academy with Microsoft partnerships.
