Academic and Intellectual

The Grammar School Nicosia offers a broad range of academic and intellectual clubs. The Debate Club debates topics proposed by students and participates in external events such as MEDIMUN Cyprus, MUN Hamburg, Harvard MUN Dubai, and EYP Cyprus. The Math Club provides preparation for mathematical Olympiads and other competitions, and Euromath prepares students for a competition held in March. Mooting is a simulation of a court hearing where students prepare and present legal arguments, developing research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Arts and Creative

The Music Club brings together students who love to sing, play instruments, and perform, and participants take part in events such as the Talent Show, school celebrations, and the Cultural Evening Orchestra and Choir. The Greek Theatre Club provides opportunities to develop theatre in Greek, including auditions, annual productions, and representation at national theatre events.

The Adventure Club focuses on thrilling outdoor activities such as river trekking, paint ball, skiing, rowing, and scuba diving, with safety training before activities. The Chess & Board Games Clubs offer a relaxing social pastime that develops strategic thinking. The Red Cross Club is a humanitarian club open to all classes, engaged in voluntary and charitable activities. The Social Work Club promotes kindness and community spirit and coordinates charity and awareness events such as PASYKAF, Road Safety Week, and Blood Donation Drives.

The Grammar School Nicosia is a day school in Cyprus that also serves as a GCE examination centre. It offers a seven-year curriculum culminating in the Apolytirion alongside Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A Level examinations. The Lower School builds core skills across Art, English, Geography, Greek, History, Information Technology, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Religious Knowledge and Science, with compulsory Modern Greek for students with Greek Cypriot heritage and an embedded STEM programme. Upper School delivers IGCSE, AS and A Level courses, with English, Mathematics, Modern Greek and Physical Education mandatory in Class 4 and a broad range of IGCSE electives. The campus features classrooms with whiteboards, science laboratories, and facilities, including the Innovation Centre (Study Area, Innovation Lab and Robotics Lab) that supports robotics and 3D printing.
