Bellementary by Jingle Bells Family is a bilingual Czech–English elementary programme for children aged 6 to 11, offered within the Czech education framework. The course blends elements of the British National Curriculum with Czech Basic School requirements and is recognised by the Czech system. Most subjects are taught in English, while the programme is fully bilingual and requires a basic knowledge of English. Children are registered as homeschoolers with Základní škola Hartmanice and receive an official Czech vysvědčení at the end of each term. The school day runs 08:30 to 15:00, with at least two hours of outdoor time, lunch and two snacks; after 15:00, afternoon clubs are available until 17:00. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning, individual and team projects, and role-playing activities. Developing emotional intelligence is an essential part of growing up and supports wellbeing and relationships. The Bellementary program is fully bilingual (Czech–English) and focuses on communication, individual strengths, and learning together as a community, which supports social and emotional development. The program offers a supportive and inspiring environment where children feel confident, curious and motivated to learn.
The curriculum is primarily taught in English and covers a broad range of academic and creative subjects. English is used across most of the curriculum. The program is bilingual Czech–English and is open to both Czech and International families. A basic knowledge of English is required for enrollment.
Children enjoy two one-hour outdoor free-play sessions every day, supporting both physical health and emotional wellbeing. Every Friday, students explore Prague and its surroundings through educational trips to museums and art galleries, historical and cultural sites, nature locations, and sports and activity centres.
