ISIB's buildings are spacious and light, with green space, play areas and woodland around the campus. In August 2013, ISIB moved into a new building on Bøgildvej, designed by CF Møller. In August 2018, ISIB joined the Hjertet project, a multi-purpose building and outdoor activities complex with a wide range of indoor and outdoor facilities located next to the Bøgildvej building. ISIB's Bøgildvej site sits beside Ikast-Brande Gymnasium, which offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme; ISIB collaborates with IBG to form a centre for international education up until university entry.
ISIB benefits from the Hjertet complex, which provides indoor and outdoor facilities. The indoor facilities include a spacious and airy multi-sports hall and a street sports hall, a reflection room and several classrooms, as well as a stage area. The Hjertet complex also offers outdoor facilities to support a wide range of activities.
Cambridge Primary offers learners aged 5 to 11 an engaging start to their education. The curriculum includes English, Mathematics and Science, with creativity, self-expression and wellbeing supported through the whole-school Jigsaw programme. Long-term plans for each year group outline the learning progression, and the Cambridge Primary brochure is available for more detail. ISIB follows the Cambridge International Curriculum and prepares students to progress along the Cambridge Pathway.
ISIB offers a Community Circle that enables parents and families to participate in school life. Examples include school fairs or seasonal celebrations, cultural or international days, sports day support, school discos and movie nights; all Community Circle activities are listed in the school calendar and weekly newsletter Engage. ISIB provides SFO and Breakfast Club for Early Years to Year 5, with after-school care Monday–Thursday 15:00–17:00 and Friday 14:00–16:00, Breakfast Club 07:00–08:00, and Holiday Club during school breaks; SFO hours, closures and contact details are listed on the ISIB site. SFO emphasizes play-based learning and social development across ages and cultures.
International School Ikast-Brande is an international day school in Ikast, Denmark, delivering the Cambridge Pathway for Primary and Secondary education and Cambridge IGCSE for Years 10–11. The Cambridge Primary programme provides English, Mathematics and Science with a perspective. The Cambridge Secondary curriculum in Years 7–11 is taught in English and prepares students for IGCSE. The school serves early years to age 16 and sits on the Bøgildvej campus, beside Ikast-Brande Gymnasium, which offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
