The Cambridge International Curriculum is followed for both the Primary and Secondary sections. English is the language of instruction, and Year 7 to Year 9 learn all subjects in English. Danish and German are offered as subjects within the curriculum. Danish Language and Literature is taught to Danish-speaking pupils, Danish as an Additional Language supports non-native speakers, and an English as an Additional Language program helps learners access mainstream subjects.
International School Ikast-Brande is an international day school in Ikast, Denmark, delivering the Cambridge Pathway for Primary and Secondary education and Cambridge IGCSE for Years 10–11. The Cambridge Primary programme provides English, Mathematics and Science with a perspective. The Cambridge Secondary curriculum in Years 7–11 is taught in English and prepares students for IGCSE. The school serves early years to age 16 and sits on the Bøgildvej campus, beside Ikast-Brande Gymnasium, which offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. ISIB moved in 2013 to CF Møller-designed building, and in 2018 joined the Hjertet complex, a multi-purpose facility offering indoor and outdoor spaces, including a sports hall, street sports area and a stage. The campus is surrounded by green spaces and woodland. ISIB emphasizes wellbeing through a Whole-School PSHE program and mindfulness; Danish and German are taught within the Cambridge framework. The school collaborates with IBG toward education up to university entry.
