The International Programme offers Cambridge IGCSE courses including English (First Language or English as a Second Language), Mathematics and Global Perspectives. A broad set of IGCSE electives covers Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Management, Geography, History and languages such as French, German, Mandarin and Spanish. The curriculum emphasizes the UN Sustainable Development Goals and climate and environment topics across chemistry and environmental management. The international classes are taught in English, while the Danish programme runs in parallel; students can switch between the international and Danish levels.
Activity subjects include beginner guitar, ceramics, design and other creative options. Common areas include media, e-music, cinema and a wood workshop, and the Multihal hosts activities such as handball, football, yoga and a climbing wall. The Imagination loft has a dance hall and stage for smaller concerts, and there are dedicated music studios and cinema facilities.

Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives encourages students to reflect on global issues and to work both collaboratively and individually. Work with textbooks and media is used to develop language skills across these courses, with a communicative approach and integrated practice in daily classes.
An abundance of activity subjects and clubs are offered, including baking, basketball, guitar, ceramics, climbing, eSport, fitness, dance, golf, handball, kayaking, mindfulness, paddle tennis, sailing, SoMe, strength training, SUP, surfing, swimming, wakeboarding, windsurfing and yoga. Common areas include media, e-music, cinema and a wood workshop, while the Multihal hosts handball, football, volleyball, yoga, zumba and a climbing wall. Outdoor activities take place at Vilsted Lake with SUP, canoeing and kayaking, and the lake area supports adventure activities, horseback riding, MTB and running.
Cultural subjects include travels and volunteer work; students participate in volunteer work while travelling. Trips integrate climate awareness, social responsibility and sustainable projects, such as reforestation or community engagement. Three annual cultural travels broaden intercultural understanding and global responsibility, and Ranum collaborates with UNESCO and other international organisations to support global learning.
Students have leadership opportunities through house councils and can propose ideas for clubs and activities. Each contact group has a contact teacher to support welfare and development, and students learn through responsibility and teamwork. Clubs and activities are student-led, with opportunities to initiate new clubs and projects.
Students live on campus in four houses forming a close, multi-building community with small contact groups and shared meals. The Seminary House features the Tree of Life, a large outdoor stage for parties and concerts, and Svederen with music studios, media, e-sport and cinema. The campus offers extensive sports and wellness facilities, including a gym, climbing wall, sailing and wakeboarding facilities, and multiple sports halls for running, beach volleyball and other activities.
Ranum Efterskole College is a Danish after-school college for students aged 14 to 17. The school combines the after-school format with Cambridge International Examinations, offering Cambridge IGCSE in 9th grade, 5–6 IGCSE subjects in 10th, and AS/A Levels in 10th–11th, with an international foundation degree aligned with the IB. The International Programme is taught in English and covers IGCSE English, Mathematics and Global Perspectives, with electives and language options; Danish programmes run in parallel. The campus spans about 29,500 square metres with four main buildings and accommodation for over 525 beds. Facilities include six science rooms, four music rooms, ceramics, design and gastronomy workshops, a media room, and a 12‑iMac digital suite. On-site sports and an on‑site Multicultural Centre support a wide program of activities. The school runs international trips and collaborates with UNESCO, and celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2024–25. Students learn through personalised support, teamwork and intercultural experiences.
