Tuition — academic year and weekly rates (2026/27)
- Academic year length: 43 weeks.
- Full Host tuition (international Full Host package, academic year 2026/27): 43 weeks × DKK 2,950 = DKK 126,850. This tuition item is stated as covering boarding, meals and tuition. Long weekends and holidays are not included in that weekly calculation.
- Full Host additional package costs (international Full Host add-ons) for the academic year 2026/27: DKK 57,350 (covers international mentor, visa assistance, health insurance assistance, arrival/departure transport from Aalborg airport, international book package and exam fees, bed linen and towels, certain holiday/long-weekend packages, etc.). Combined total for an academic year including Full Host package: DKK 184,200. Parents remain responsible for flight tickets, registration fee (DKK 2,000) and travel & liability insurance.
- For students who are covered by Danish state efterskole support, tuition is calculated per week and the school provides a weekly rate and a calculation method; the school bills based on number of weeks. (The school publishes the weekly price and uses a 43-week year to calculate annual tuition.)

Tuition — per-term / instalment detail (billing breakdown)
- School fees are invoiced and payable in 12 monthly instalments: June, July, August, September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April and May. The first instalment is due 1 June 2026 and the final instalment is due 1 May 2027 for the 2026/27 year.
- Example instalment calculation for Full Host tuition (illustrative): DKK 126,850 ÷ 12 = DKK 10,570.83 per instalment (actual instalment amounts may vary because the first instalment also includes specified one-off charges listed below).

Up‑front / one‑off charges and deposits
- Værelses- (room) deposit: DKK 1,000, charged in the first instalment. This deposit must be replenished if used and any unused balance is returned after the school year.
- Washing access fee: DKK 300 (one-off), charged in the first instalment (covers access to washing machines and tumble dryers).
- Registration / enrolment fee: DKK 2,000 (charged at sign-up).
- Optional bed linen rental and wash packages: single-year options are available — dyne/pude/rullemadras package, including final wash, DKK 600; fortnightly laundering package DKK 1,100; combined package DKK 1,700 (43-week year). These are charged via the school shop.

Boarding fees and what is included
- Boarding (meals and accommodation) is included in the Full Host tuition figure DKK 126,850 for 2026/27. The Full Host description explicitly lists boarding and meals as included. For international Full Host students additional host-package items (listed above) are charged separately.

Other recurring or optional costs
- Profile- and culture-trip contributions / student self-payment: profile- and culture-trips (periodic class trips) incur additional self-payment amounts that vary by destination (examples include trips to London, the USA or Nepal); these self-payments are charged in addition to tuition.
- Long-weekend / holiday package(s) for Full Host students: examples given include Christmas holiday package (optional) priced at DKK 13,000 (must be chosen by Oct 1).
- Guest/visitor charges (short-term stays or meals) can be charged and the school accepts MobilePay for such visits (MobilePay no. 15327 shown for guest payments).
- Replacement keybrik: DKK 100 (deducted from deposit if required). Damage charges are taken from the room deposit and may be recovered collectively for communal damage.

Refunds and cancellation / early‑withdrawal charges
- Cancellation / early withdrawal fee: DKK 8,000 is charged for cancellation or termination of the efterskole stay; this fee applies from signature of the school contract, including before the school year starts. Prepaid costs for trips, certificates and events are not refundable.
- Deposit and Full Host package fees are non‑refundable. Refunds of paid tuition (if any) are calculated based on the number of started weeks; a minimum cancellation fee of DKK 8,000 applies to refunds.

Billing schedule and payment terms (summary)
- Billing schedule: 12 monthly instalments running from 1 June (first instalment) to 1 May (final instalment) for the academic year. Ranum Efterskole College is a Danish after-school college for students aged 14 to 17. The school combines the after-school format with Cambridge International Examinations, offering Cambridge IGCSE in 9th grade, 5–6 IGCSE subjects in 10th, and AS/A Levels in 10th–11th, with an international foundation degree aligned with the IB. The International Programme is taught in English and covers IGCSE English, Mathematics and Global Perspectives, with electives and language options; Danish programmes run in parallel. The campus spans about 29,500 square metres with four main buildings and accommodation for over 525 beds. Facilities include six science rooms, four music rooms, ceramics, design and gastronomy workshops, a media room, and a 12‑iMac digital suite.
