The school offers Ping Pong, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Chess, and Soccer as part of its athletics program. Physical Education is provided twice weekly to develop discipline, leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Students can participate in leagues and tournaments throughout the school year. The athletics program is represented by the ASSD Eagles.
Language and Arts Curriculum uses the Lucy Calkins Reading and Writing Workshop to foster readers and writers for life. Math Curriculum uses an award-winning platform developed by the University of Chicago. Social Emotional Education supports students' emotional understanding and decision-making through a Restorative Practice approach. Community Service Education connects classroom learning with real-life community experiences. Science covers biology, chemistry, physics and environmental science with hands-on experiments. Spanish is taught and integrated as required for the curriculum.
Talent School offers afterschool classes in Introduction to Drawing and Painting, Jazz Dance, Coding with Scratch, Craft Club, and Guitar/Piano/Violin, among others. Chess I, II, and III provide tactics training and tournament preparation. Homework Supervision offers a collaborative space for independent work. Hummingbird Adventures delivers outdoor education for grades 6–12, combining academic content with nature-based experiences in the Manabao mountains.
