Admissions Process

Step 1: The SEK Las Américas International School offers a bilingual curriculum that begins in Pre-kinder Education and continues through to university. From the initial levels, children develop in English and Spanish. The school provides instruction across Preschool, Elementary, and Secondary levels as part of a single program. This structure supports ongoing language development and steady academic progression through all grades. Step 2: For additional information, contact Rosandy de Los Santos, the Director of Admissions. Families are encouraged to reach out to learn about the admissions process and requirements. The school also invites prospective families to complete the online form to request further contact. Step 3: To initiate contact, complete the online form with the required fields: Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Course, and How did you learn about us? The form requires consent to the Privacy Policy. After submission, SEK Las Américas will contact the family to provide information and next steps. Additionally, a personalised visit can be booked to learn about the educational project and the SEK experience.

SEK Las Américas is an international school in Santo Domingo serving students aged 3 to 18 with a bespoke curriculum that blends English and Spanish from the earliest years. In preschool, children follow Playgroup plans that foster physical, intellectual, social and moral development, while elementary education builds basic procedures and literacy, with bilingual language development integrated across the curriculum. In middle and high school, learning emphasizes meaningful projects, interdisciplinarity, and the use of technology, guided by core values and a commitment to multicultural understanding and self-directed inquiry. The campus features a Library and Virtual Room for research, an in-house dining service with options, a Medical Department, and bus transport. Technology is embedded across classrooms, with programming/robotics labs, Dell devices, LEGO, a 3D printer, VR, iPads, and Google Classroom. Extracurriculars include robotics, music and dance, debate, and sports. The school offers English and French certifications and Student Council and Alumni Club.
