AEFE scholarships are available to children of French families living abroad. They are offered by local commissions established at diplomatic or consular posts and allocated after advice of a national commission established at the AEFE directorate. To qualify for AEFE scholarships, children must be French nationals and enrolled, or in the process of enrollment, at the French consulate. For more information, consult the AEFE site. The AEFE 2026-2027 scholarship campaign for French children living in the Dominican Republic has been published on the Embassy's site.
