The LFSD offers athletic and artistic activities as well as French-language academic support. These activities are taught by professionals specialized in their respective fields. Centers partnering with the program include Santo Domingo Nautical Club, the National Taekwondo Federation, the National Chess Federation, DEPORTEX in football, Coding Space in programming, Rhythmic Academy in rhythmic gymnastics, Dominican Dance Theatre in dance, and the Dimitrova Karate Academy. Participation supports complete student development and helps new arrivals make friends, practice French and Spanish, and integrate into the school community.
The LFSD offers theatre, visual arts, and music as extracurricular activities, along with dance. Theatre programs include general theatre production and performances, developing expressive and interpretive skills. Visual arts help students express their understanding of the world and cultivate creative thinking. The music program develops musical ability and offers instrument study options such as piano, violin, viola, flute, and percussion, including both introductory and instrumental tracks.
English is introduced through an extracurricular program that develops fundamentals of the English language, including vocabulary, grammar, spelling, pronunciation, and reading comprehension. French-language reinforcement is provided to support students needing extra language assistance. Debates ONU develop cooperation, respect, freedom of expression, and multilingual communication in French, English, and Spanish. Journalism activities introduce students to the basics of communicating information across media.
Board games strengthen French language skills, logical reasoning, teamwork, memory, and observation. Entrepreneurship activities foster initiative, project design, and the ability to turn ideas into products or services. Dance programs, including Dance (Danza) and related movement activities, foster rhythm, coordination, and self-expression, while Yoga supports physical and mental well-being as part of after-school offerings.

Sailing (Voile), offered in partnership with the Club Náutico, builds teamwork and agility with competition opportunities for teams.
LFSD is a French school in Santo Domingo, contracted with AEFE. It delivers the French National Education curriculum from ages 3 to 18 across four cycles plus lycée (Seconde, Première, Terminale). LFSD's Baccalaureat provides direct access to higher education locally and abroad. The school emphasises a plurilingual environment with French as the language of knowledge; English and Spanish are taught from age 6, with EMILE and DNL integrated into the program. The curriculum is defined by France's National Education and recognised by the Dominican Republic's education system.
