LFSD is a non-profit association. Our institutional DNA lives in every student. We are not simply a school: we are a space where critical thinking shapes our identity, forming global citizens capable of questioning, understanding and transforming their environment. Each space at LFSD invites dialogue and discovery. Our mission is to prepare students to become thoughtful, ethical citizens engaged with their community and the world.
LFSD offers a broad range of sports activities including football, rugby, basketball, and girls' volleyball. Rhythmic gymnastics and taekwondo are also available. Sailing is offered in partnership with Club Náutico. The LFSD sports association is part of AMLANORD UNSS/AEFE, enabling students from 5e to Lycée to participate in competitions. Students form teams that compete in national, regional, and interschool championships.
The LFSD is AEFE-contracted and guarantees high-quality multilingual education based on the French National Education programs. It also integrates instruction in the history of the Dominican Republic. From preschool through terminale, LFSD offers an education of excellence and an international diploma that enables students to enter leading universities in Europe, North America, and Asia. The school promotes democratic participation and sustainable development.
LFSD offers sports and arts activities as well as French-language academic reinforcement. These activities are taught by professionals specialized in their respective fields. Centers integrated into the after-school program include Club Náutico de Santo Domingo, Federación Nacional de Taekwondo, Federación Nacional de Ajedrez, DEPORTEX in football, Coding Space in programming, Rhythmic Academy in rhythmic gymnastics, Dominican Dance Theater in dance, and Karate Dimitrova Training Academy. The activities are available for students from CP to Terminale, every afternoon from September to June, according to the schedule. Enrollment and management are via EDUKA; contact is Ms. Tania Bonilla (aes@lfsd.edu.do).
