Billing schedule and payment terms

- Invoices for tuition and related mandatory charges are issued by the accounting department and must be paid before the 5th of each month. Payments are treated as monthly obligations; the school applies payments to the oldest outstanding debt first. Late payments incur a 1.75% monthly penalty. Debts older than 90 days are subject to legal recovery.

- Invoicing currency and exchange: invoices are issued in Dominican pesos; payments may be made in euros, US dollars or Dominican pesos using the French chancery exchange rate for the month; the rate in force on the day of receipt of payment is used and any bank charges are borne by the payer.

Payment methods and bank details (options)

- Accepted methods: cheque, cash deposit, bank transfer, bank deposit; credit‑card payments are accepted in person at the school cashier for amounts permitted by the school. Cash payments are not accepted at the cashier for mandatory fees or additional charges above DOP 2,500. The school reserves the right to charge bank fees to the payer.

- Bank accounts provided for transfers (named to LICEO FRANCES DE SANTO DOMINGO, INC.):
- Banco Popular Dominicano — Cuenta Corriente Pesos N 00 54 54 04 77.
- Banco BHD León — Cuenta Corriente Pesos N 2450221‑0012.
- Bank (Paris) — Banque Transatlantique / Paris (Euros) — IBAN: FR76 3056 8199 2600 0120 6890, BIC: CMCIFRPP.
- Always indicate the family surname and month/activity in the payment description (school uses the first 30 characters). A receipt is emailed within eight days of payment.

Examination and other mandatory ancillary fees

- Official exam fees (2026–2027): DNB (3ème) DOP 4,000; Baccalauréat 1ère DOP 17,000; Baccalauréat Terminale DOP 20,000. These are charged in addition to the annual tuition where applicable.

- Other ancillary mandatory items and costs:
- LFSD polo (required for outings) sold at reception: DOP 800.
- ID card replacement: DOP 500.
- Correspondence book (carnet de correspondance): DOP 200.
- Costs for school trips, extra‑curricular activities, calculators, textbooks, and any items sold by the school are charged separately and are payable at the time indicated.

Discounts, sibling policy and pro‑rata on mid‑year arrival

- Sibling discounts: the published annual amounts show lower fees for the second and third enrolled children; the school explicitly applies a discount for second and third children as shown in the annual fee schedule. Families with children already enrolled benefit from a DOP 10,000 discount on the first‑registration fee. Any change of nationality in the pupil file affects the tuition level from the following month. Families who join during the school year receive a prorated discount on tuition; any month started is due in full.

Boarding

- Boarding is not applicable; no boarding fees are listed. Tuition and ancillary charges shown are for day schooling.

Refunds, absences and withdrawal

- First‑registration fees may be refunded under certain conditions; the school states that refunds for the first‑registration fee can be made in specific cases.

- Temporary absences (any duration) do not entitle the family to a reduction in tuition. Families who withdraw must pay for the entire month in which they leave. If outstanding debts are not paid, a pupil may be prevented from re‑enrolling until debts are cleared; paid tuition for the current school year may permit reinstatement if debts are resolved.

Summary of payment practicalities

- Annual tuition is published by cycle and by nationality; amounts above are the annual totals in DOP for the 2026–2027 school year. Tuition is billed monthly; invoices are due before the 5th of each month and may be paid in DOP, EUR or USD using the chancery exchange rate. Late payments incur 1.75% monthly interest and serious arrears lead to legal recovery procedures. Exam, uniform and other ancillary charges are invoiced separately as required.
