Mindful Community School offers a competitive, rigorous college preparatory program. The curriculum is aligned with Core Common Standards, MCrel, Bville, The National Council of Teachers Performance Standards and the Dominican Republic's mandated curricula. The program meets the performance standards of universities both in the United States and in the Dominican Republic. The school fosters a USA-type curriculum while valuing the culture of the Dominican Republic.
Ballet, Crochet, Creative cooking, and Eco Arts & Crafts are offered as extracurricular classes. Rhythmic Gymnastics is also available for students seeking performance-based activities. The Spanish & Social Department supports language learning and social studies as part of the learning program. Soccer, Volleyball, and Basketball are offered through Extracurricular Classes. Taekwondo, Chess, Skating, and Rhythmic Gymnastics are also available as after-school activities. Service Learning Activities focus on community service through different projects linking academic learning with social, personal and emotional growth. Students engage in volunteer activities to strengthen communities. The program aims to instill in students the values of solidarity and cooperation, promoting healthy integration in society. Student leadership is provided through Student Council and Eco Committee. The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) and National Honor Society (NHS) chapters recognize scholarship, character, leadership, and service, and enable representation at national and international events. The Parent-Teacher Association promotes activities for stakeholders and volunteers, strengthening community ties. The Alumni Association supports ongoing engagement with graduates.
