Samana International Academy is located on a 16,000+ m2 (over 4 acres) farm in Juana Vincenta, Samana, Dominican Republic. Grounds are securely gated and tucked away from the main road, with 180-degree views of Samana Bay, the Los Haitises mountains, and nearby islands. The campus emphasizes an outdoor learning environment with open-air classrooms and outdoor settings, including a playground for student activities. The property hosts more than 30 fruit and vegetable trees, coffee and cacao plants, two natural springs, and animals such as horses, goats, chickens, cats, and dogs. Most instructors are bilingual, and all classes are taught in English, with Spanish and French lessons offered as part of the curriculum.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Gardening, farming, and animal care are integrated as hands-on experiences. Field trips support experiential learning beyond the classroom. The curriculum includes science, technology, engineering, art, music, history, geography, entrepreneurship, project-based learning, and nature studies. Students engage in independent research and project extensions as opportunities arise.
