Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Socioemotional Learning is integrated into daily life to help every student thrive. The school equips students with self-awareness, self-management, and interpersonal skills to navigate emotions and relationships. SEL Regulation Centers provide safe spaces where students can calm down, refocus, and return to learning. The entire staff is trained to provide proactive, compassionate support for students' emotional needs in the classroom. The Well-being program emphasizes leadership, empathy, and social responsibility as part of holistic growth.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The school teaches an English-language American-style curriculum. The school provides a bilingual educational program.

Mental Wellbeing

The Counseling Department promotes the academic, career, and social-emotional success of every student. Socioemotional Learning is integrated into daily life to help students thrive, with SEL Regulation Centers to support regulation. The Well-being Department focuses on Bien Ser (Well-Being), Bien Hacer (Well-Doing), and Bien Estar (Well-Living), addressing emotional, academic, and physical health. Counselors provide individual and small-group counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to outside mental health providers when needed. Staff are trained to provide proactive, compassionate support for students' emotional needs in the classroom.

Safeguarding

Crisis intervention and referrals to outside mental health providers are available when needed. The Well-being program and counseling services support safeguarding by promoting a safe, inclusive environment.
