Language Provision

English is the primary language of instruction; Spanish is the secondary language. An English as a Foreign Language (EFL) program supports English Language Learners with small-group instruction, in-class EFL push-in support for Kinder through 12th grade, and progress monitoring using Woodcock Munoz assessments and MAP tests. Newcomers' English acquisition classes are available, and most coursework is conducted in English, with some courses taught in languages other than English as designated.

Immersion Programs

The school is an English immersion school with English language instruction provided by native-English-speaking teachers and a U.S. curriculum. It follows the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) as part of its U.S. curriculum. An AP program is offered.

Alliance Academy International is a Christian international school in Quito, Ecuador, serving children of missionary communities, professionals. It offers an American curriculum with Advanced Placement, taught by English-speaking teachers from the United States, Canada and other countries. The Preschool program serves ages three and four with holistic, play-based learning and Gospel integration, while Kindergarten provides ages five and six, and engages students in reading, language arts, writing, mathematics, science and social studies with daily Bible instruction and programs in arts, music, physical education, keyboarding and Life Skills.
