History

Alliance Academy International is a private Christian international school located in Quito, Ecuador, serving the children of missionary communities, business professionals, diplomats, and Christian ministries. The school was founded in 1929 by missionaries of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. The programs, services, and ministry of AAI trace back to that foundation and have been carried forward by hundreds of committed Christian professional educators over the decades. The school provides a US-style education grounded in high standards of educational excellence.

Community

Athletics and the arts are integral to the school community. The athletics program includes soccer, volleyball, and basketball, with facilities and coaches to foster teamwork and discipline. Spiritual Life supports daily formation through Bible classes, Community Growth Groups, chapels, and Spiritual Emphasis Week, plus service projects such as a water project near Chimborazo. Annual retreats for grades 9-12 (Man-Up for boys, Fusion for girls) and the Inside-Out Summer Camp immerse students in English and build community.

Alliance Academy International is a Christian international school in Quito, Ecuador, serving children of missionary communities, professionals. It offers an American curriculum with Advanced Placement, taught by English-speaking teachers from the United States, Canada and other countries. The Preschool program serves ages three and four with holistic, play-based learning and Gospel integration, while Kindergarten provides ages five and six, and engages students in reading, language arts, writing, mathematics, science and social studies with daily Bible instruction and programs in arts, music, physical education, keyboarding and Life Skills. The Secondary program offers individualized course schedules, a manual arts program, competitive sports and a range of extracurricular activities, alongside Bible classes and a chaplaincy program.
