Asten College was founded by Dr. Salma El Bakry, who serves as founder and chairperson. The college is a Microsoft Digital Transformation School offering a rigorous British education. The Core 24 values-based education approach is in use, implemented through a 2021 partnership with Franklin Covey. The campus sits on a 20,000 m² plot in Taj City along the Cairo–Suez International Road and was designed by Gensler.
