Founded in 2005 in El Sherouk City, BCCanadian International School West began with a vision to bring Canadian education to Egypt. It expanded to the West campus in 6th of October City to serve more students. BCCIS West is fully accredited by the British Columbia Ministry of Education, meeting Canadian standards through yearly inspections. It operates as a BC Offshore School delivering the British Columbia curriculum. Graduates receive the Dogwood Diploma and a BC transcript, and each student is assigned a Personal Education Number (PEN) validating enrollment in the BC education system.
