English is the language of instruction in all subject areas within the English Language Program, with Core French (40 minutes daily) and Arabic (50 minutes daily). Graduation provides the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. The French Immersion Program enables DELF proficiency, and secondary levels support bilingual qualifications.
CISE offers a French Immersion program across elementary and secondary, with students following the Ontario curriculum content alongside their English-program peers. The Kindergarten French Immersion Program is a two-year, trilingual experience with instruction in English, French and Arabic; teachers speak French all the time and most class activities are conducted in French, though some specialist subjects may be taught in English. Upon graduation from Grade 8, students receive an Elementary French Immersion Certificate, and continued study in the French Immersion program at the secondary level supports bilingual qualifications.
CISE provides a French Immersion program for elementary and secondary students. The Kindergarten program offers a two-year trilingual immersion in English, French and Arabic, with French used exclusively in Kindergarten and most activities conducted in French. Grade-by-grade French instruction in the elementary years is 80% in Grade 1, 60% in Grades 2–3, 66% in Grades 4–6, and 50% in Grades 7–8. The DELF Diploma is encouraged for immersion students, and secondary immersion aims to graduates with bilingual qualifications.
Canadian International School of Egypt is a private international school for learners aged 4 to 18. It delivers the Ontario Canadian Curriculum and grants the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, and it is listed by the Ontario Ministry of Education as an Overseas Private School. The school offers a bilingual pathway with a French Immersion option that uses the same Ontario content as the English program, plus a two-year trilingual Kindergarten in English, French, and Arabic. In Elementary, French instruction reaches up to 80 percent in Grade 1, about 60 to 66 percent in Grades 2 to 6, and roughly 50 percent in Grades 7 to 8; graduates receive an Elementary French Immersion Certificate at Grade 8, with continuing bilingual qualifications in secondary. The DELF Diploma is available for French proficiency. Facilities include an auditorium, cafeteria, gymnasium, library, computer lab, and science lab, plus on-campus medical care. The campus features a main soccer field, a full athletics program, a performing arts space, extensive library resources, and early after-school activities.
