Breakdown components shown in the fee tables
- The published totals combine the base tuition (Schulgeld) and a number of fixed ancillary items that may be charged annually or once, including: activity fees (Aktivitäten), student ID and data administration, student accident insurance, school medical/medication/dentist contributions, contribution for equipment and infrastructure, examination fees, enrolment materials and the one‑time registration fee. The fee tables give these component amounts separately and the final annual total per year group.

Per‑term / instalment information and billing schedule
- The school issues tuition invoices with payment dates specified on the invoice at the start of the school year (invoices are prepared in September). Instalment dates and the number of instalments are determined on those invoices. For new entrants to Kindergarten and for class 4n the first instalment is due at the end of May. For any withdrawal from the school, the fee for each started half‑year (Schulhalbjahr) is due. One‑off charges for activities and similar items remain payable in full even if a student leaves during the school year.

Boarding / boarding fees
- The school operates as a day school; no boarding or boarding fees are listed in the published fees.

Transport (school bus) charges and rules
- Bus registration fee: EGP 200 (one‑time registration fee for initial bus registration).
- Single (one‑off) trip price (for occasional, non‑bus subscribers): EGP 100 per trip.
- Non‑Egyptian users pay bus fees in EUR. Annual bus fees and exact pricing per route are published with the bus operation information; the school issues a separate bus invoice in September and the invoice shows the exact payment date. Bus cancellations must be made digitally via the portal or by e‑mail; an untimely cancellation usually leaves the relevant half‑year fee payable. The bus conditions also state that refunds may not be provided in cases of force majeure (e.g., fuel shortage, political instability).

Other administrative and incidental fees
- Replacement student ID (Ersatzausweis): EGP 80.
- Re‑issue of a school fee invoice: EGP 25.
- Late purchase of schoolbooks surcharge: EGP 150 (penalty for delayed book purchase).
- Various certification and document authentication fees (e.g., certified copies, attestations) are listed as individual administrative charges (amounts vary by service; examples include several dozen to a few thousand EGP for official attestations). Detailed administrative fee items and amounts are published in the administrative fees list.

Schoolbooks and materials
- Schoolbook lists and the itemised prices per book are published per class; the school runs an online bookshop for book ordering. If books are not purchased through the online bookshop during the specified purchase window additional handling fees apply. Example: class‑specific book lists and prices are provided for each grade (price lines appear per title).

Refund, cancellation and withdrawal rules
- Withdrawal: for any student withdrawal, the fee for each started half‑year is due; one‑off charges (activities, enrolment materials) remain payable in full even after mid‑year departure.
- Bus cancellations: must comply with the bus conditions (deadlines apply; late cancellations normally leave the half‑year bus fee payable; refunds are limited and the school may withhold refunds in cases of force majeure).
- Administrative refunds and penalties (late fees, non‑returned loaned materials, etc.) are addressed in the administrative fee schedule and bus conditions.

Accepted payment / invoicing practice
- The school issues formal invoices for tuition, bus and other charges by e‑mail; payment deadlines and the accepted payment modalities are shown on each invoice. Bus documentation specifically references payment by bank transfer (Überweisung) once invoice(s) have been issued; invoices also state the exact payment due date(s). For administrative or exceptional payment modalities parents should follow the details printed on the invoice and the administration contact.

Summary note on amounts
- Annual totals differ by nationality category (Egyptian nationals in EGP; German nationals and other foreign nationals in EUR) and by year group; component charges (activities, insurance, medical contribution, exam fees, registration fee) are shown separately in the published fee tables and add up to the annual totals listed above.

It imparts life skills and educates for dialogue and conflict resolution, civil courage, and responsibility for society and the environment. The school fosters intercultural and interreligious encounters as part of its identity, contributing to social-emotional growth.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Remedial instruction for German-language reading and spelling difficulties is available from the 2nd grade. Remedial support in the main language of instruction German starts early and can be taken from the primary level through Sekundarstufe I up to the 9th grade of Gymnasium. Enrollment requires parental consent in cooperation with the class teacher or the German-language specialist and the school psychologist, based on written samples or testing or external evaluations. Participation is usually once a week; in exceptional cases it can be twice weekly. Remedial plans with concrete, small-step goals are developed using test results and scientifically validated programs or individually created materials. Parental support is essential for long-term progress; if learners and parents do not cooperate, access to this remedial instruction may be restricted as an additional option.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Languages of instruction are Arabic and German. Foreign languages offered include English and French.

Mental Wellbeing

The counseling team works interdisciplinarily, preventively, and confidentially to support students and families in social-emotional development and strengthening social skills.
