German is a core language of instruction; in the Grundschule, Wir sprechen Deutsch supports language development with reading promotion and regular library visits, and experiences like Sprachprofi and Freiarbeit develop language skills across the curriculum. English begins in the fourth grade as the first foreign language, with emphasis on listening and speaking through age-appropriate activities, aiming for communicative competence by the end of primary. The school also offers Arabic-language instruction as part of its language program and follows a language sequence including Deutsch als Fremdsprache and deutschsprachiger Fachunterricht at the upper levels.
The SMV student council includes school speakers and class representatives (grades 5–12) and coordinates activities such as a Talent Show and Carnival, as well as AIDS Awareness Day and Cancer Awareness Day.
The Sozial-AG promotes social work as a core part of school life, regularly visiting the Awladi orphanage in Maadi and organizing Ramadan Iftar with 30 orphans. It also collaborates with the Banati Foundation for street children and has organized blanket drives in cooperation with Samusocial, plus visits to hospitals and care facilities.
Student leadership is fostered through the SMV's structure, including school speakers and class representatives and ongoing planning trips such as Ain Soukhna. The Alumnae-Beirat coordinates trips, Ramadan Iftar, a job fair, life-coaching videos, and other activities, while the Elternbeirat provides parent leadership and regular coordination with the school leadership. The Lehrerkreis (Lehrerbeirat) serves as a link between Arabic- and German-speaking staff and meets regularly to address school matters.
Iftar evenings organized by the Sozial-AG foster community and well-being by bringing together students, parents, and guests for shared meals during Ramadan. The school emphasizes communal activities, celebrations, and collaborative projects that support social connectedness and student well-being, including talent shows and other inclusive events.
