Dream International School Cairo offers an American curriculum for students aged 3 to 18, with a parallel National Division for younger grades. The main campus is in Dream Land on Wahat Road in 6th of October City, overlooking the pyramids and set across 24,000 square meters. The school operates two wings: the American Division (Pre-K to Grade 12) and the National Division (Pre-K to 3rd Secondary), housed in a three‑story building. Facilities include a full-service cafeteria, ICT and science laboratories, a library, a clinic, and dedicated spaces for music and art, plus expansive outdoor sports areas: two tartan football fields, a basketball court, a volleyball pitch and a clay tennis court. Middle School continues to develop literacy skills—fluency, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, reading comprehension and writing—and adds advanced skills in literary analysis, critical thinking and sentence structure. The school prioritizes safeguarding through policies that ensure physical and psychological safety for students and staff, including anti-bullying policies and mental and physical health guidelines. All teachers and staff are screened for safeguarding purposes and hold professional qualifications. Policies establish safety standards for the physical environment and the mental state of students and staff.
1. The application process begins six months in advance of September admission. The online admission request form is filled. The admission team reviews the request within 5 business days. Applicants receive a phone call or an email informing them of the request status. If a vacancy exists and the request is approved, the interview date is scheduled during the call. 2. On the scheduled date, both parents and the student visit the school for the interview, the student's standardized placement test, and to fill and sign the hard copy application. The interview assesses fit and the placement test determines appropriate level. 3. If the student is accepted, parents submit official transcripts and original required documents. The submission completes the enrollment documentation. 4. The first installment of the tuition fees and registration must be paid within 2 business days after acceptance to secure a place. 5. Applicants must prepare the following documents before attempting to access the online application: Parents' IDs (Mother + Father); Student's original birth certificate (computerized); 6 personal photos (6x4); Previous school report; Copy of immunization card. 6. Students transferring from other schools in Egypt must provide a transfer certificate, stamped by their current school and the relevant educational department after passing the DIS assessment exam, and an educational sequence statement for the past school years. 7. Students joining from abroad must submit the last school reports from the previous school(s) stamped by the Egyptian Embassy or the Egyptian Consulate in the country they are transferring from, and passport copies for the child and both parents. 8. Foreigners must submit a copy of their residence visa in Egypt.
