German, Arabic, English and French are taught at Europa-Schule Kairo, with French introduced from Grade 6 in the Gymnasium. In Kindergarten, German is the language of instruction, with Arabic used to assist communication. Deutsch als Fremdsprache (DaF) is offered in Grundschule to support German learners, progressing toward A1–A2 levels by the gymnasial orientation (DaF is taught in Klassen 3–4 in small groups since 2018/19). Abitur exams can be taken in German, English, Arabic and Mathematics at a higher level, and the Deutsches Sprachdiplom I (DSD I) is offered.
The Europa-Schule Kairo operates a German-Egyptian school system (Deutsch-ägyptische Schulsystem) across Kindergarten to Gymnasium. German is the language of instruction, with Arabic support used in Kindergarten to aid communication. The D-Zug program begins in Grade 4 and uses German as the main language, with English or French available as the first foreign language. The long-term goal is to attain the Deutsches Internationale Abitur.
Europa-Schule Cairo is a German government-recognized international school for ages 3 to 18, offering a German-language curriculum from Kindergarten to Gymnasium. The campus has a kindergarten building, bright classrooms, modern secondary facilities, a climate-controlled sports hall, two football pitches, a private pool, and outdoor spaces. The school emphasizes project-based, cross-disciplinary learning through a D-Zug track and uses modern media to support hands-on, individualized study. Core subjects include German, Mathematics, History, Arabic, Biology, Geography, English, with French from grade 6 and Physics and Chemistry from grade 7. Deutsch Sprachdiplom I (B1) is offered. Abitur is the German International Abitur, with exams in German, English, Arabic and Mathematics at higher level, and other subjects at basic level. Egyptian credentials Addadeya after grade 9 and Thanaweya after grade 12 are issued. The school participates in the Diercke Wissen geography competition.
