The school offers a Canadian curriculum aligned with Manitoba standards and with oversight from the Egyptian Ministry of Education. Heritage is affiliated with the Manitoba Ministry of Education in Canada and with the Egyptian Ministry of Education. A Canadian High School Diploma is issued and accepted by universities worldwide. There is no SAT/ACT requirement to enter private universities in Egypt or Europe after graduation.
The school has facilities for art, drama, music, and sports. It supports a broad range of academic activities, clubs, and societies. The enrichment program extends beyond the campus with events, trips, and conferences at local, regional, and international levels. Learning beyond the curriculum strengthens curricular learning and student growth.
Grade 7 includes core courses (English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies) and electives such as French, Music, Art, Physical Education, and Arabic studies. The program fosters a diverse worldview, global citizenship, equality, human rights, and diversity. Educators are qualified and experienced, teaching to Canadian standards of instruction and assessment. Arabic ministry exams are administered at the same ages as other Egyptian schools.
Model United Nations is an active program that simulates United Nations debate. Students learn to think critically, work together to seek solutions, write resolutions, and participate in structured debate. Heritage regularly participates in conferences in Egypt at Cairo American College, Hayah International Academy, and BIS Cairo, and the program travels to Rome, Italy for an international conference.
The aim of Community Service is to prepare students for their future by helping them learn what it means to be responsible citizens. Community Service also teaches students the value of serving others, having empathy, and helps them develop self-discipline and critical thinking. Some events include The Ramadan Drive, winter clothes donations, November Shave, and donations to orphanages, hospitals, and other service organizations.
The Student Council is a group of students elected by their peers to share students' ideas and concerns and organize school events and activities. Roles include president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, communications directors, photographer, athletic representative, and class representatives. Since its revival in 2021, Heritage's student council has organized events such as Halloween bazaar, Christmas games, a winter formal, and Valentine's Day candy grams, and has led 7–12 sports tournaments and charity events like Movember and the Ramadan Food Drive, along with Earth Day and International Women's Day campaigns.

Heritage International School in Cairo is a Canadian international school for students aged 4 to 18, affiliated with the Manitoba Ministry of Education and the Egyptian Ministry of Education. The campus sits on a secured, gated site, with a large two-storey library, an indoor gym, an indoor multipurpose room, an indoor cafeteria, science, physics, biology, chemistry and industrial labs, two computer labs, language labs, and an indoor theater under construction.
