ITACC opened in 1997 as a division of Thebes Schools, which was established in 1984. It delivers American-style education in Cairo and prepares students for success at top universities in Egypt and around the world. ITACC holds Cognia accreditation for 20 years, reflecting adherence to international standards. The school provides coursework from Kindergarten through Grade 12. It is centrally located in Cairo for easy access from city and suburban areas.

Integrated Thebes American College in Cairo offers an American Diploma to students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, providing a 12-year program that culminates in college admissions worldwide. The school follows an American curriculum with Arabic, national education and religion taught as part of the timetable but not counted toward the final GPA, which is calculated on a 4.0 scale. Final grades combine traditional diploma components (40%) with ACT, EST or SAT results (60%), and core subjects are aligned with students' intended majors.
