It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
MBIS has a school uniform. The uniform includes long-sleeved polo shirts, short-sleeved polo shirts, trousers, skirts or skorts, a winter jacket, pullover, PE shirt, PE shorts, PE hooded track top, house-colour T-shirts and an MBIS cap. Uniforms can be purchased through RoseMarie in Heliopolis with home delivery; 6th Form may wear own clothes as long as these are respectful of local traditions.
A lunch provider offers a cafeteria and students may bring packed lunches. Healthy foods and drinks are encouraged; confectionery is not allowed. MBIS's on-site caterer is Marny's, offering sandwiches, wraps, salads, breakfast items and fresh juices; hot meals are served in winter; a sample Marny's menu is provided.
House colours are part of the uniform; MBIS uses house-colour T-shirts as part of activities.
MBIS is a non-profit school. The Board of Directors are all parents and are very visible in the playground.
