Maadi British International School (MBIS) is a British international school in Cairo serving ages 2 to 18. It follows the English National Curriculum, with Early Years Foundation Stage, Edexcel GCSE/IGCSE and Cambridge A‑Levels delivered at an Edexcel centre. The Primary Curriculum uses thematically linked Launch Pad and Landing Pad experiences, and in Key Stages 3–5 students study KS3, GCSEs and A‑Levels across 14 subjects, including languages such as Spanish, French and Arabic. The campus is purpose-built in Zahraa El Maadi, with facilities that include a 25-metre indoor pool, an auditorium/theatre, two ICT suites, a science laboratory, Art and Design Technology rooms, a drama studio and a well-stocked library of more than 20,000 books. MBIS emphasizes creative, inquiry-based teaching and offers extensive arts, sport and leadership opportunities. It has a strong pastoral program, a House and Student Leadership Team, and a UK Independent Schools Inspectorate report praising provision for families worldwide.
