How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. To join Maadi Narmer School, apply online at https://mns.getscl.com/signup/admissionapply. The online application initiates the admissions process. After submission, applicants proceed to the next steps.
2. Visit Maadi Narmer School premises to sign the application and submit the required documents: copy of a birth certificate; 1 recent photo for the student; copy of the father's ID; copy of the mother's ID; and copies of both parents' university degrees. Set an appointment for the assessment.
3. Punctuality for the assessment and interview is highly appreciated.
4. Parents' interview is conducted for newcomers only.
5. Parents will receive a confirmation e-mail with a code from the admission office to confirm the appointment.
6. British Division students are tested to assess their academic level through a written entrance exam in Literacy, Numeracy, and Arabic Language and an oral assessment in Literacy.
7. Semi-International Division transferred students are tested to assess their academic level through a written entrance exam in English, Math, and Arabic and an oral assessment in English.
8. Please note that an invitation for assessment does not guarantee a place, and students may be put on the waiting list for transferred students.
9. Once your child has been awarded a place in the school, parents will be required to settle the first installment within 5 working days. When the required payments have been received, you are on board and have joined Maadi Narmer School.
10. Applicants must submit all their required documents after acceptance: Original birth certificate; 4 passport photos with white background; Most recent grade reports; Behaviour report from the current school; Copy of the father's I.D., Copy of the mother's I.D., and/or Guardian's.
11. Transferring from a School WITHIN Egypt: In case your child is transferring from a school WITHIN Egypt, you are required to present all the above-mentioned documents in addition to the following: a certificate testifying to the promotion of your child from one year to another, issued by the Ministry of Education, Educational Department; school transfer paper stamped from your child's previous school and the Ministry of Education, Educational Department.
12. Transferring from a School OUTSIDE of Egypt: In case your child is transferring from a school OUTSIDE of Egypt, you are required to present all the above-mentioned in part one in addition to the following: Attendance statement from the previous school; Previous year's school reports; Both must be original documents duly signed and stamped by the Ministry of Education/ Foreign Affairs and the Egyptian Embassy or consulate in the country you are transferring from; Once the number of accepted students reaches its limit, the remaining applicants will automatically be placed on a waiting list; Priority in acceptance goes to students with the highest performance on the Admission Placement test.
13. Admissions Rules and Regulations: Minimum age for admission as on 1 October is 3+ for Nursery and 4+ for KG1/FS1; Both parents are required to attend the parent interview; Parents are not allowed to attend the applicant's interview; Babies and nannies are not allowed to attend the applicant's interview or the parents' interview; There are no re-exams for unaccepted applicants; Results will be announced within 10 days to 2 weeks of the examination and parents' interview; Scores are confidential and are not to be announced to parents; Acceptance to MNS is contingent upon the results of the assessment test and the student's and parent's interview.

Maadi Narmer School is a two-division British and Semi-International school in Cairo serving students aged 3 to 18. The British Division follows the Cambridge Primary Curriculum for the early years and offers Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS Levels, Cambridge A Levels and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE within a framework aligned to Oxford International Primary Curriculum. The Semi-International Division adheres to MOE standards in ICT and core subjects, emphasizing information and communication technology. The campus includes STEM, Drama, Art, Reading Rooms, a Library, a Theatre, science and ICT laboratories, well-equipped classrooms, a clinic, outdoor play areas, and sports facilities. The Humanities and Egyptian Culture content run across divisions, with field trips and projects that foster heritage and awareness. The school also offers clubs and programs such as Model United Nations, a student union, and a range of performing and visual arts, science and languages initiatives that prepare students for international higher education.
