All MIS students wear the school uniform daily, purchased from the on-site uniform shop. The Summer Uniform is navy blue trousers/shorts, MIS polo-shirt, plain socks, and black shoes (no trainers); the Winter Uniform adds a navy jacket/cardigan. Foundation students require a spare seasonal set, and Y11-12 wear the Seniors T-shirt with navy trousers; Swimming and PE kits are separate with listed items.
MIS runs a fully staffed on-site cafeteria offering healthy, fresh foods and beverages throughout the school day. Students from Year 1 upwards can purchase items during breaks, and Foundation students can pre-order monthly set meals. Payments are cashless via the MIS ID card, and the Healthy Eating Policy restricts unhealthy foods and encourages reusable containers.
The school is officially accredited British school authorised by the Egyptian Ministry of Education. It is a British Council Global Partnership School & Attached Centre and offers Cambridge IGCSE and Edexcel qualifications.
Manchester International School (MIS) offers a British international education in Egypt for ages 3 to 18. The curriculum follows the English National Curriculum with Cambridge Pathway (CAIE) and Pearson Edexcel IGCSEs, from EYFS to Year 12. Cambridge Primary is used for Years 1–6 alongside the National Curriculum; progression continues through lower and upper secondary leading to Cambridge IGCSEs and A/AS Levels. The school is accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education and Pearson Edexcel and is a British Council Attached Centre; native English-speaking teachers are employed across year groups. Facilities include dedicated spaces for art, music and theatre, and two indoor heated pools supporting a broad sports program. The school emphasises Learning Outside the Classroom experiences, regular trips, and a Sports & Activities Academy that supports wellness and community involvement.
