Tuition fees (per year / per term)
- The school publishes its tuition amounts to families through the admissions/accounts process rather than as a publicly posted fee table. Years 11 and 12 are charged on a per‑subject basis. For Year 11 & 12 subject charges, additional examination registration and administration fees apply.

Other mandatory academic charges and per‑subject costs
- Administration fee for retaking a subject without attending classes: EGP 6,500 per subject. If a student retakes the subject and attends classes on campus the fee charged is 75% of the school fee for that subject.
- Examination registration fees (CAIE/Edexcel and other boards) are charged in addition to tuition; late entry penalties can be substantial (the handbook warns that delays may incur penalties significantly higher than the original registration fee). Parents are notified before each exam series of the registration fees and payment deadlines.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- New students (FS1–Y10) instalment structure example: an initial deposit of 10% is required within three business days of acceptance (higher if accepted after certain cutoff dates); remaining instalments are split (for example: 40% by March, 25% by November, and 25% in January or February depending on year group). Years 11 & 12 are billed per subject. Exact instalment percentages and dates are confirmed by the Accounts Department at the time of offer.
- On acceptance you have three business days to make the required initial payment by bank transfer; the Accounts Department issues full payment details by email. On‑time payment secures the offered place.

Refunds, cancellations and withdrawals
- Online admission portal policy: refunds are generally not issued for online payments through the application/payment gateway; transaction errors are handled case‑by‑case and, where applicable, refunds are normally returned to the original card. The Admissions/Accounts teams administer any refund requests.
- If a student withdraws completely prior to the start of the session a 10% deduction of the fees is applied (withdrawal and fee deduction policy). School trips and certain extracurricular payments are non‑refundable once a deposit/payment has been made.

Boarding
- The school operates as a day school for its New Cairo campus; there is no published boarding fee structure for the New Cairo site in the student/parent handbook or admissions materials. (Years 11 & 12 are charged on a per‑subject basis; any residential/boarding arrangements would be handled separately if offered.)

Other costs and routine charges
- School uniform: available for purchase from the school shop; prices vary by item and pupil size.
- Books and digital learning licences: where applicable these charges have been included within the main fees since the 2022/2023 academic year (digital licensing referred to as academic resources). Replacement cost and administration fees apply for lost or damaged books; library late fees are charged per book per week and lost books incur replacement plus shipping and taxes.
- Cafeteria / pre‑paid meals: Foundation parents can pre‑order set meals; cafeteria operates cashless via MIS ID card. Initial cafeteria top‑up threshold and subsequent top‑up amounts are set by the Finance Department; parents may top up either in person or by bank transfer using the child's MIS ID.
- Trip costs and extra‑curricular activities: charged as extras in addition to tuition; parents must pay by stated deadlines and refunds are not normally available if a student withdraws after payment.
- Library and book fines: late return fees and replacement charges apply; unpaid late fees are added to the student's finance account.

Fee payment options and practical payment steps
- Online credit/debit card payment is accepted via the school's online admissions/payment gateway for application fees. Payment gateway transactions are processed by the school's chosen payment provider.
- Bank transfer: on acceptance parents are given bank transfer instructions and three business days to complete the initial payment; the Accounts Department provides the transfer details by email. Cafeteria top‑ups may also be made by bank transfer.

Manchester International School (MIS) offers a British international education in Egypt for ages 3 to 18. The curriculum follows the English National Curriculum with Cambridge Pathway (CAIE) and Pearson Edexcel IGCSEs, from EYFS to Year 12. Cambridge Primary is used for Years 1–6 alongside the National Curriculum; progression continues through lower and upper secondary leading to Cambridge IGCSEs and A/AS Levels. The school is accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education and Pearson Edexcel and is a British Council Attached Centre; native English-speaking teachers are employed across year groups. Facilities include dedicated spaces for art, music and theatre, and two indoor heated pools supporting a broad sports program. The school emphasises Learning Outside the Classroom experiences, regular trips, and a Sports & Activities Academy that supports wellness and community involvement.
