It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Age-based eligibility: Placement follows age by October 1. Preschool requires 3 years by October 1; KG1 requires 4 years by October 1; KG2 requires 5 years by October 1. Primary 1 requires 6 years by October 1; Primary 2 requires 7 years by October 1; Primary 3 requires 8 years by October 1; Primary 4 requires 9 years by October 1. Primary 5 requires 10 years by October 1; Primary 6 requires 11 years by October 1; Preparatory 1 requires 12 years by October 1; Preparatory 2 requires 13 years by October 1; Preparatory 3 requires 14 years by October 1; Secondary 1 requires 15 years by October 1; Secondary 2 requires 16 years by October 1; Secondary 3 requires 17 years by October 1. 2. Admission criteria: Preschool, KG1 and KG2 admissions are determined by age and assessment of the applicant. For Grades 1 through 9, admission depends on personal assessment for the applicant and the family, school readiness testing, and past school records. A new student must sit for an assessment examination, which, together with prior records, informs admission decisions and placement. 3. Application timing: Applications are accepted throughout the academic year. However, due to space limitations, apply well in advance to secure a place for your child. Parents should plan ahead for potential waiting periods. 4. Language School documentation: All applicants to Mansoura College Language Schools must submit to the admissions office a completed application form; six recent photos of the applicant; a copy of the applicant's electronic birth certificate; copies of the parent's/guardian's IDs; and complete official school records from the current school.
