Merryland International School Cairo is a British-affiliated international school delivering the Cambridge International Curriculum for core subjects and the English National Curriculum for non-core subjects, with Arabic, Islamic Education and Arabic Social Studies following the Ministry of Education curriculum. The school serves learners aged 3 to 16, organized in Cambridge phases: Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and 2, Key Stage 3, and Key Stage 4, with Year 6 and Year 8 Checkpoints and Year 9 IGCSE, followed by IGCSE/AS/A‑Levels from Year 10. Founded in 1970 by Ayad Ragheb Ayad, the school has over 50 years of experience and operates from new premises. Facilities include air-conditioned KG classrooms, science labs, computer labs, a maths lab, a library, an AV room and dining spaces. The sports program features multi-purpose playgrounds, indoor and outdoor facilities and a swimming pool. Regular school day runs 8:00 am to 2:50 pm. Gates open at 7:30 am; arrival is 7:30–7:45 am; morning assembly 7:45–8:00 am; buses leave campus at 2:50 pm. Extra-curricular activities run after school until 4:15 pm on one day per week, with bus service available for those using the bus.
Bus service provided; starts on the first day of school in the afternoon. Districts served include First Settlement, Fifth Settlement, Katameya, Rehab, Sherouk/Madinaty, Heliopolis, Nasr City and Maadi.

This structure blends international and Egyptian curriculum requirements to support pupils across the Cambridge and MOE frameworks.

The admissions office will contact you shortly to schedule the parent's interview and the child's assessment appointment.

Step 4: Kindly bring all the required documents on the day of the interview. The documents for assessment include the applicant's birth certificate or passport copy for non-Egyptians; copies of identification for both parents; copies of both parents' university certificates; a health and vaccination report (required prior to completing registration); and a nursery report where applicable for Pre-school and FS1. A confidential letter of good conduct is mandatory for grade 7 and up, and end-of-year reports for the past two years plus the most recent school reports for the current academic year must be provided, with papers from outside Egypt attested by the embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Egypt if applicable. Upon acceptance, eight recent color passport photographs; a passport copy of the student (for English spelling purposes); a recent original utility bill indicating the home address; a Non-Egyptian Student's Admissions Letter (issued by the Educational Administration Office in New Cairo, only for non-Egyptian passport holders); and an attested Sequence of Years Certificate are required.
