English language proficiency is a mandate for all MES students. A second language, French or German, is offered starting Primary 1 (British Division Year 1; American Division Grade 4). Through the Goethe Institut, students may sit for the Fit 1 exam, while Fit 2 qualifies students to travel for further language study in Germany. Students studying French may qualify to sit for the Delf exam starting Grade 6 through Institut Francais d'Egypte au Caire.

Modern Education Schools (MES) in Egypt serves ages 3 to 18 through three divisions: National Division (Egyptian National Education framework), British Division (Cambridge/Edexcel qualifications), and American Division (California standards). English proficiency is required for all students. From Primary 1, a second language—French or German—is offered, with Goethe‑Institut Fit exams in German and Delf exams in French beginning Grade 6. The British Division provides subject choice guidance and career advising, with high achievers recognized by the British Council. The American Division follows Common Core English and Math, and AP courses are available in High School; MES is an AP testing center. The school occupies about 11,000 m2 with 80 classrooms, 6 science labs, 4 ICT labs, a library, four music rooms and four art rooms, plus a mosque, a clinic and extensive sport facilities. MES runs year‑round activities and cultural events, and holds a Cognia School of Distinction award (2022).
